Vine Released For Android

Vine for Android has finally been released. You can now go create, share and view Vine’s right on you Android device. Reviews thus far aren’t great, with users complaining of audio issues and lack of front camera support. It’s release lags some 5 months behind the iOS version which has gained more features and polish in this time. Earlier in the year we caught a job posting from Vine for Android developers so updates can’t be too far behind.

UPDATE: Reports have come in that Vine is using gigabytes of cache storage space. In order to clear it out go to Settings > Downloaded Apps > Vine > Clear Cache. This can be used for any application that you’ve installed on your device, as there have been reports that popular applications such as Facebook and Instagram have the same issue.
