In just a couple of days we should see the release of the tie-in game to the World War Z movie starring Brad Pit and lots… of Zombies. The game is set for release on May 30th on iTunes, Google Play and the Amazon App Store.
The movie is based on the best selling novel of the same name by Max Brooks. Distributor Paramount Pictures chose to partner with Horn developer Phosphor Games. The game will be a first person Zombie combat game and powered by Unreal Engine 3.
“We were excited to be able to use the cutting-edge Unreal Engine 3 to bring World War Z to life,” Phosphor Games Studio Director Chip Sineni said in a statement to IGN. “Our goal was to build Paramount a AAA game, and with that came all our favorite bells and whistles, like ambient occlusion lighting, multipass blended textures, and hordes of enemies to fight.”
